The materials and quality of the renovation were impressive too and nicely furnished. Will definitely stay again in future. Despite its slightly higher end price, definitely worth the visit!

Fabulous location next to the Parc Oriental (which we visited). Room was ready early and had a view over the park. Free entry to the Chateau vegetable garden, which was very worth seeing. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast OK but not special for the cost. Parking very close to the building with easy access to the rooms by a lift. Nice period decor to room, with modern bathroom.

Located in Saumur town centre, Hotel Saint-Pierre is next to the Loire River at the foot of Chateau de Saumur. It offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Pleasantly surprised to find this quaint, beautifully decorated and looked after boutique hotel. Very central with a public parking 150m away. Fantastic breakfast with so many goodies including organic goodies that I cannot list. A real meal. Has a small bar with a large whisky collection.

Set at the heart of the Loire Valley, this 18th-century château offers luxury rooms with period furniture. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. Incredible place! Everything was perfect! The chateau is unbelievable, the ferniture is very well maintained. Beds are clean and very comfortable. Food and breakfast are excellent as well.

Demeure de la Vignole is a 17th century residence located in the Loire Valley. It offers an indoor heated swimming pool carved into the rock, just 5 km from Fontevraud Abbey. The setting, the room, the service, breakfast (organic and local specialities), the neighboring vineyard, la piscine, everything was perfect. The Loire valley in this area is quite special with its cave apartments and châteaus. The hosts were supernice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

We simply loved our stay here - big spacious room, great view from the window on the inner garden, breakfast and dinner were very good and served in a room that was beautifully renovated with respect for the very special character of this place, secure parking space, within walking distance of Angers, a lovely walk along the river Maine.
