Nice hotel, friendly staff and very good location with a lot of trees around, it is hardly to see so many trees in Iceland. We liked our stay there and will be back if we re-visit Iceland.

Situated in central Akureyri, Centrum Hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Akureyri Public Swimming Pool is 500 metres away. The best breakfast we had during our trip through Iceland. The rooms were nice and clean. Definitely recommended.

Set in Akureyri, 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Beautifully designed, spacious rooms. The automated check-in and check-out makes it very easy to arrive and leave the property any time. There was a coffee machine with capsules in the room, very nice touch. Black outs worked perfectly. The hotel is situated just outside of the main part of Akureyri but if you have a car it’s really not a problem and in exchange the views are amazing. You can park you car right outside at the terrace of each room so it’s very easy to move heavy luggage in and out.

Room had guitar and a music box which was nice Overall a good experience

This family-run hotel is found along the Ring Road/Route 1, 14 km outside Akureyri. It offers a hot tub, sun terrace and views of Eyjafjördur. Wi-Fi and parking are free. beautiful setting. views of the bay and mountains. places to hike and picnic. so many amenities (hot tub, lounge protected from wind, tower for higher view, sauna, hiking trail, picnic tables on the water, darts, pool table, many common areas to enjoy the view).

Located in North Iceland’s main town, Akureyri, this budget summer hotel is a short walk from the city centre and the Eyjafjördur Fjord shore. Free parking is offered on site. Beds were very comfy, the bathroom was clean and good. The room was big. Free parking. Coffee and tea in the room.
