Villa Fregn features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ljørdal. The accommodation features ski storage space, as well as a bar and barbecue facilities. Our welcoming was very warm! We were served with coffee and pancakes on the house. Our room was very nice. By reserving the accommodation we thought we should have our own bed linen but that wasn´t the case - everything was ready for our stay. In addition we were offered sauna and hot tub, good relaxation after ten hours travelling and good preparation for skiing in Vasaloppet. We also got very early and hefty breakfast. Despite quite remote location, it was easy to get to the starting point of Vasaloppet because of less traffic from this direction. Atmosphere in Villa Fregn was very cozy and host is really friendly. This place is "pearl in wilderness"!

Situated in Brumunddal, 16 km from Hamar Cathedral Ruins, Wood Hotel by Frich's features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Stunning location with great room and view. Centered between Hamar, Lillehammer and Gjøvik, and within a small car drive to everything we wanted to visit. Compared to hotels around the area and cities mentioned above, the room you get for the price can't be compared. Surprisingly great value.

Kongsvinger Budget Hotel is located in Kongsvinger and offers views of Glomma River, free WiFi and free parking. Each room comes with a TV and a bathroom with shower. Modern, clean, free coffee and tea, lovely lounge area. We were traveling as a family of six. We booked 2 separate rooms and it was the perfect amount of room for our brief stay. Beds were super comfy, water was nice and hot!

Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 800 Meters above sea level in Fageråsen,Trysil. Norway’s largest Ski Resort. Trysil are also a well-known bicycling area during summer. Great location, Good breakfast and nice atmosphere.

This Grue Region guest house is in the village of Kirkenær. The Finnskogen forest area is 14 km away. Skaslien Hotel & Guesthouse offers free WiFi, an on-site restaurant and en-suite guest rooms. Very pleasant, comfortable, superb service and quality all over. The homemade disses and menu. Everything was really lovely.

Situated on Hamar’s main street Torggata, Clarion Collection Hotel Astoria offers free WiFi, a complimentary light evening buffet and rooms with satellite TV. Breakfast, Fika and dinner were great. Loved the coffee maker!!! Room was excellent, as were all the staff. Very helpful with parking needs, questions, etc.

Located in Østby, this hotel is a 20-minute drive from the ski slopes of Trysilfjellet. The Swedish border is 19 km away, and airport Scandinavian Mountains is also a 20 minutes’ drive. Very warm and welcoming, nicely appointed, excellent breakfast and restaurant and owners a delight!
