It’s a very nice option to get to know the Uros community. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. It gets very cold at night, but there are extra blankets. I did a day tour to Isla de Taquile and a city tour around the Uros islands, both where very interesting. Highly recommended, amazing experience.

Gorgeous place to stay!! The room was fab, better than we expected. Everything was very clean, a lovely hot shower and plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The dinner and breakfast was nice and the family here are so welcoming and friendly.

Felix is a wonderful host! staying on the floating island was beyond amazing. The care, food and attentiveness already have us wondering when we’ll be able to return.

Situated 4.6 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, Vip Flotante offers accommodation with a patio. We stayed only one night, coming from Copacabana, but we would have loved to stay longer. Leonardo organised us a taxi from the port to the private pier and picked us up with his boat, although we arrived quite late. His wife Lina welcomed us with a nice dinner. The next day we rented their kayak to have a look around the Isles and relaxed on the Isle. The room had a huge and comfortable bed with a view over the lake, the shower was big and had warm water and they gave us hot water bottles in case we got cold during the night. They both do beautiful handicraft work. We would come again.

The location of the island is great and the family managing the place is fantastic!!! We were able to discover how people live (building the islands, fishing,....) and it was a really authentic experience.
