What a wonderful hotel, with an amazing staff and owner who bent over backwards to make sure it was a honeymoon of a lifetime. Tried another resort but it just didn’t compare and returned to Mayai! Great food, great people, great location.

From the layout, to the flowery garden, and the creme de la creme was the outdoor bathroom with shower!!!! Sarah is an amazing hostess with the mostest. And he husband is one hell of a dj. His "Girl I'll house you" says it all! Old skool acid house brought back memories of my younger partying days! I will definitely return and buyout the entire property next year!!!!!!

It's a cozy little spot, well-planned, sitting right on the beach, and there's this seamless connection between the villas and the beach that feels just right. You can tell that the owners really considered every little thing here. The food is so carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, on-point, and super quick to help out. Honestly, it's just the ideal place to be.

Sahile bakan Imara Beach Resort, Kiwengwa'da 4 yıldızlı konaklama olanağı, bahçe, restoran ve bar sunmaktadır. Location is like a small bubble on Sansibar. Boutique Character with a nice small pool directly at the beach. Tide was better than expected and the beach looks nice during low water phase. Staff is verz professional and go extra miles for in case of special needs. Staff is very kind and happy like the people on Sansibar. Food has good quality. You dont have to think about ice rockets, meet etc.. Was quite good.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sharazad Oasis Retreat. The location is amazing, in a quiet and naturally beautiful spot, simultaneously by the sea and in the middle of biodiverse greenery, with many native trees and with red colobus monkeys passing by every day. The houses are very comfortable, cosy and pretty, designed using natural materials. There is no aircon but we did not feel too hot even during the hottest days, instead it was really pleasant to enjoy the natural air flow from the sea. The staff is really kind and helpful. The facilities are great. We particularly enjoyed the jungle pool. The food was very nice, including the breakfast. We would particularly recommend the Vietnamese restaurant, which is partly part of the hotel, absolutely delicious! The excursions we organised via the hotel were good, especially the spice farm, and we also enjoyed relaxing massages in the Naru Spa. All in all, a much recommended choice for a sustainable higher end stay! Not sure that there are many similarly amazing places to stay left in Zanzibar.
