Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe spend lot of time in Cove area since Atlantis main pools were packed with cruise ships people and made it too crowded. We did not use the slides a lot due to long lines. The food was ok compared to the prices you pay for it. I did not like the wrist bands that we had they were unconfutable especially when u sleep with them, we are used to better bracelets lot of resorts use new once that are strings/door keys (tags). u can pay stuff with them and its always on you. Also with the same bracelets it would be nice if you could have cameras around the property where you can buy photo package and then just tag u bracelets to take pic of you and the family. (excaret Mexico had that and it was the best thing)
the beaches and pools were amazing, we spend mostly of our time in the cove area I like the easy to pay stuff with the room key,

UruguayThey asked you for a guarantee of 900 dollars at check in. I asked several times if it was a guarantee. and at check out they charge you and do not refund. They even detail the expenses for room service and changing towels.
The rooms and swimming pools are very free.

United States of AmericaMost restaurants were very expensive. There were no affordable options. It would be nice to have some affordable options to eat. Also the front desk gave limited information to my stay. They could of been more clear with what I should of been expecting during my stay. I had no idea I had a credit I could use during my stay. I found out at checkout.
I loved the hotel. Beautiful place to stay.

Property is breathtaking. My only issue is, I wish it was all inclusive. I was willing to pay a lil higher rate for stay just have everything be all inclusive. I couldn’t keep up with everything being charged to my room. Other than that, beautiful resort, my family and I had a great time.

TurkeyThe staff was very unprofessional at the reception. I’m from hospitality and understand how check in etc works. Was hardly explained to which elevator to go and was just given a A4 print out with open hours of everything. Upon the checkout it turned out I had a complimentary balance of 200$ to use at the property because of booking reservations. No one told me about that. After by trying to get more info and asking if I can at least spend it last second in the shops of Atlantis I was told it’s only for F&B. So if I knew that I wouldn’t be paying for my food directly with my credit card, but would use the bonuses. Also they count unbelievable amounts of the fees and gratuity taxes they couldn’t explain me from what are they and I wasn’t refunded my 300$ deposit because it was all “used up”. I asked for the print out of those taxes and it was totally unclear and receptionist couldn’t explain me a thing. I also had a reservation to the pig island that I made with a concierge. She confirmed that it’s totally done and I should be present at the port in the morning. In the morning it turned out that an email from the company should’ve arrived to me but as I didn’t answered they canceled. No email arrived to me.
The property is a nice trustable brand. Sometimes feels like staying even at the entertainment park. Rooms are nice, refreshed. Even that we stayed at the lower floor the view was beautiful. The beach, the activities at the property like aqua park etc are nice to explore in two nights.

RomaniaBetter buy the day ticket and don;t spend the money on the accommodation as it gives you no advantage. Everyone can pay the day pass and benefit from all the facilities in the hotel. The staff at reception were incredible rude and unprofessional. The internet in the rooms would not work, we had to buy the extra charge internet and the day of checkout they cut-off the internet although it was paid for 24 hours (i.e. until 10pm in the evening). The USD 1000 a night had no proper glasses, only paper ones, bathroom had no amenities (only shampoo and shower-gel). The elevator was not working for half of the day to get to our 24th floor room, so we had to use the service elevator which was beyond filthy... The hotel itself is not very well maintained, you can tell it was build in the 70s.
The hotel itself it's something you don;t see everyday. totally worth the experience. Everything is impressive and the marine-life throughout the hotel was just spectacular. the rooms are spacious and very clean. the restaurants selection was great and
