Dinner buffet ran out in the evenings. NO BEACH ... was a bummer. Food in restaurant was kinda average.

The staff! Beautiful people. Lovely Kesa helping us with bookings made us smile, Sera greeting us for breakfast each morning was so welcoming. Dass was fab taking us for our sunset horse ride, and lovely Ruci leaving messages with leaves on our beds each day, making our day. Honestly the friendliness and kindness of the staff made the stay beautiful.

The price of the Buffet dinner was way too high for the food options.

The staff customer service was amazing right from the start to the end. I had great conversations with a few of the staff. I will not name them, but they are such beautiful people. The Buffet breakfast was lovely. There were so many food options to choose from. The pool and view from that area were picturess. We really loved the Fire Dancing performance 😍

Food and the prices, however, breakfast was included in price and was a nice selection. Bathrooms in public areas need to be cleaned more.

They wasn't really a beach and you have to drive a small bit to get to any of the main areas of Fiji. The pool was fantastic though

The Buffet Breakfasts were so nice! The chefs really do go above and beyond for them. The staff were amazing treating you like royalty and like you are apart of their family which we loved! The room was so cozy and the bathroom was so modern and clean. They have 2 restaurants on site which means after a few days we got sick of the same types of food but the different cuisine buffets at night were a hit. This isn't advertised on their website but should be!

A $400 deposit on arrival was quite steep we thought. Food service not fantastic, waiting times are quite long & 24hr food service not as advertised. The tipping culture is massive here and sometimes we did feel quite pressured to tip. The whole place essentially closes up at 9pm, more family orientated.

Property is absolutely stunning , views are amazing. Most staff are very friendly. Food is good enough standard. Reasonable pricing.

Location. Beach crap. Resort on the whole needs a face lift. Resort needs a shuttle bus to and from town.

Room not fully set up for three adults which we booked for, water and coffee not topped up daily and when we rang for a hairdryer it didn’t turn up.

The only downside of the property (being very picky) is that the beach is not a swimming beach. It is a little expensive to get into town so make sure you think about this before you book. There was also no microwave in the room. These things did not worry us at all.

We had the most amazing stay at Sonaisali Island. Our room was always clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well. The cleaning staff left us a little box of scones on our last night which were delicious. The staff at the property were so helpful and friendly. The food was always delicious and reasonably priced ($25 AUD for a delicious burger and chips). So many activities to do on the island every day. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. A big special thank you to Sala, Aporossa, Sevenaia and Vara for always having the time to stop and chat to us, nothing was ever a bother for them. This was the second time we have stayed at Sonaisali and will always book here when we come to Fiji. VINAKA!!

House keeping were very behind daily.. our room got missed two days in a row. Bathroom could have a renovation done and better lighting in the Bure rooms.

Good quality was average, particularly the dinners. Outside baymaries were covered in small Insects making the food inedible. For the price its was poor. Breakfasts were good. Room was nice although our door often stuck and was hard to open. (Bungalow 35). Extra deposits and credit card charges were not clearly stipulated in the ad which added additional an expense that wasn’t returned for over a week.

The site, amenities and location albeit you needed a boat to get to it which wasn’t mentioned. Staff were very friendly.

Stunning location, pool is the absolute highlight focal point and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We loved our 2 shirt nights here, and would recommend to anyone visiting Fiji!

Rooms could’ve been cleaned daily or have a broom and toilet brush in room for guest to use for small clean ups themself if needed. Especially having small messy children it may be helpful.
