We loved the quieter aspect of Pollonia but still has a beach, cafes, restaurants and mini mart in walking distance. You do need a car to drive to all the special spots - beaches, villages, seaside towns, catacombs, Sarinkinko etc. Main port Adamas is 15min drive as is most other locations on that side of Milos. We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed 4 as we had some big days getting tourist spots done and would have liked a lazy day just at a beach club. Definitely do a boat cruise to Kleftiko and Skyia Cave - half day tour (5 hrs) is fine no need for a 9 hr oneAbigailHong Kong - 10Scored 10

Pollonia is quiet enough that you can relax but still has plenty of dining and entertainment options. Great bus service into Adamas with connection across the island. Do the boat tour on a catamaran!

Please check the small writing for this accommodation. I booked a double room & once I got there was told that I booked the room for 1 person. I was told to pay an additional $30 per day including the day (ferry boat canceled) we weren’t there. We weren’t given any other choice we either paid the extra money or we were out to find other accommodation. Please check the small print as I have never come across anything like this before

Milos is great island and Pollonia is a great town.
Milos is great island and Pollonia is a great town. Very family friendly with several great restaurants to choose from. Pollonia has close access to a wonderful part of Milos that has a dramatic beautiful coastline.

I'd reco a car to be able to explore the beaches to get the best of Milos, transportation is easiest that way. Pollonia felt like the best place to stay after checking out everywhere else based on its location in relation to everything and its hotel/ dining offerings. once we had a car it was seamless, we visited all the beaches, most memorable were: SARAKNIKO, TSIGRADO and Firopotamos. We at at O Hamas and Medusa, I still am thinking about how perfect those meals were.OLIACanada

It is a quick walk into Pollonia for restaurants, sandy beaches and a grocery store. Everything on Milos is a short and easy drive. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need. The host greeted us with fresh fruit and we came back one day to a lovely bottle of wine. The host is very friendly and quick to respond to messages. The decor is a mix of modern and somewhat dated styles. The property is right at the waterfront across the bay from the Pollonia port. The view was spectacular. My apartment had a big balcony with chairs and tables and also the flat rooftop had more room for partying, including chairs and tables too. The apartment with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen was furnished for a comfortable stay. I couldn't say that I was missing anything there.

This means it is very quiet and you have a lovely stroll after you eat too much for dinner. The location is right by a spectacular swimming spot and the view is amazing. The unit we stayed in was very comfortable with best quality towels, sheets and pillows. The manager Dimitri, is just so helpful and can answer any question or solve any problem. It’s close to the beach areas and you can walk easily to all the restaurants in Pollonia. This is a great place to stay especially if you have your own vehicle.
