We were just looking for a one night stopover during a longer journey so we booked quite late, but the room was still ready (even though we arrived with a kid - so needed extra bedding). The receptionist was really lovely.

The apartment is just as nice as on the pictures and what is more, it's spaceous, clean, perfectly equipped and has a balcony overlooking a small inner garden. Location is also very good: it's in the city center, still quiet, 10 minutes walk from the train station, shops and restaurants are also nearby. The hosts are very helpful and flexible.

This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel. This time the room was good, there were no problems with hot water (last time there were problems). Breakfast was good this time. The room is clean and comfortable.

Hotel garni Steinfeld is located in Wiener Neustadt’s industrial area, next to the airfield and just a 5-minute walk from the Arena Nova event centre and the FH Wiener Neustadt.

Breakfast was ok. Staff was excellent. I was there with my two dogs for a search and rescue training nearby - my dogs were welcome, so were I. It's a simple family and friendly hotel - I didn't need anything fancy, actually I like more this kind of atmosphere.

The hotel lived up to our expectations. The people in charge keep their word. The reception staff are always there to help AND with a smile! It's not the greatest luxury, but it was enough for us. It's a good thing there's air conditioning in the rooms, because it heats up quickly. There's an elevator, phew. Quiet corner. We'll have fond memories of this place and won't hesitate to return if prices don't go up, of course.
