We had only one night at Caro & Selig, but it was super enjoyable! We arrived at late night hour and the staff was super nice and attentive. The room was spacious, everything looked new and clean. Bed was super comfortable (both for us and our toddler who had a nice crib) There is air conditioner in the hotel and the rooms (super important on hot days!) Breakfast was rich, including variety of specialty of the region. The hotel has a parking attached (fee). The hotel located in middle of Tegernsee, short walk to lake promenade.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The private, quiet location away from tourists makes it feel like a true hidden retreat. The design is full of character and quiet luxury, with thoughtful details everywhere. the stone-style walls and the modern, very comfortable room. The spa is beautifully designed—private, calm, and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant brings a warm Bavarian atmosphere with its traditional wooden décor, and the breakfast was fantastic. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home and will definitely return.

The Location is perfect. The hotel is incredibly comfortable, spacious and clean. The rooms are spacious, with stunning views over the lake and mountains. The staff are welcoming, and the restaurants and bar areas are beautifully laid out. All in all, a wonderful experience. Breakfast was fantastic - especially the selection, which felt genuinely Bavarian, with no compromises on quality bread and fresh rolls, including some delicious Laugenbrötchen. There was also some of the classic English breakfast, though honestly, I didn’t need it. I also really appreciated how the place preserved some of its original charm, like the old balcony doors and front-facing windows. It’s such a refreshing feeling when not everything is modernized - sometimes the traditional touches offer more comfort and character.
