Very recently built building of a major hotel chain whom we have used before so we knew what to expect. Building, fitments, decor etc were thus all virtually brand new. We chose it as an overnight stop not far from a motorway junction as a convenient place on a journey from south west France to central Italy.

The man at reception was very helpful at check-in. He took his time and highlighted the key sites. He also gave 2 good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was excellent value. The Hotel is an old style hotel with a very attractive appearance.

This was a perfect hotel. It was old, and in perfect shape. I felt like I was back in 1800's France. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was large with a nice shower and separate toilet. A brand-new large TV had just been installed. The breakfast was excellent in a very well-decorated room. The ambiance was wonderful.

The Mistral hotel is located 4 km south of Montélimar, in a large wooded area. It has an outdoor swimming pool, an on-site bar and offers free WiFi.

We entered and the first thing we felt was the noiseless airco. Outside it was 33 degree and inside it was delicious cold.
