Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France.

This gem of a hotel was reminiscent of the Logis style of small French family run hotels of old. No fuss, no frills, just good solid service with a smile and a warm welcome. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, well organised, provided the option of an evening meal at the onsite restaurant (which was good and tasty, if a little pricy) and an excellent generous and varied breakfast with a range of local products. Wifi was fast and reliable. Parking safe and easy, adjacent to the rooms. It was very good value for money.

Lovely place, lovely people. On our way from Germany to the Atlantic Ocean we booked for one night. We were 4 hours to late because of the traffic and after giving notice they waited for us with are room ready and warm food. Place in the middle of nowhere, great air and sound of water. We had the best sleep! We will sure come again. Thanks a lot!

The room was clean, comfortable, well kept and well ventilated. The breakfast has all of the standard components, especially good coffee and bread. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby for dinner.
