The room was everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were lovely and it was nice to see some preserved history. Our room was a little warm (but the weather was warm anyway), being Aussies we are used to having aircon, but we were able to leave the windows open for some fresh air.

Had a 4 night stay here, while my wife was in hospital in Wythenshawe. Very comfortable, nice big room for me and the dog. Lovely warm atmosphere, great food, staff couldnt do enough for us. Made an anxious time for us, so much easier.

The Black Swan is a charming, country lodge.. there is a lot to like about it, the staff are really friendly, the food is really good. the rooms are really clean. There is a lovely play area and zip line for the kiddies, an outdoor seating area, and you can even feed the ducks. we had a great stay.
