The place was very covenient and comfort to stay. There is a supermarket 5-10 minutes driving in a very quiet neigbourhood with nice garden. The host was a very frienly person very responsive with his messages and gave us very useful things like water shampoos and washing machine tablets.

Combining a beautiful location in Karavomylos with excellent spa and leisure facilities and a fully equipped business centre, Ionian Emerald is an excellent choice for holidays in Kefalonia.

Elena & Beatriz on reception were both very accommodating giving us our preferred room in block 12 and they also offered us a late checkout.

Aura Boutique is located in Lixouri Village, offering rooms and suites that boast Ionian Sea views. Free WiFi access is available in all areas.

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and cleaned daily. We were lucky to receive an upgrade from our host, Anastasia, who is absolutely wonderful! We stayed in a huge room with a gigantic and very comfortable bed – we especially appreciated the Coco Mat mattress. She also kindly arranged a late check-out for us, which we were very grateful for. The hotel is located right on the beachfront. I believe it has around 11 rooms, most of them offering stunning sea views. The sandy beach is literally in front of the hotel – small but with a few sunbeds and umbrellas. There’s also a good restaurant right next to the hotel. Lixouri is a small, charming village with a relaxed and authentic vibe. It’s not overcrowded with tourists, which was a big plus for us. All the restaurants are just a short walk away, and the ferry to Argostoli (the island’s capital) is very close, running every 30 minutes.
