The staff were so kind and accommodating and I would recommend coming here just for them alone. The beds and blankets were so comfortable I never wanted to get up. Our room looked onto a mountain and it felt so surreal, even just walking out the front of the hotel you were met with stunning scenery. If you want to see the three peaks or Lago di Brais or literally any other big monument they are a 5 minute walk away from the bus stop, just make sure to book your tickets. The food here was also amazing you have a beautiful buffet in the morning and a 5 course meal at night which was delicious. My boyfriend and I were backpacking and although this was a on the pricier side for us it was completely worth it and would come here again. Also it was a 10 minute walk from the station so no need for a car.

The stay at Hotel Simpaty was nothing short of wonderful. Some parts of the hotel i.e. rooms and breakfast area are newly refurbished, and the whole object is extremely clean. We stayed in the Junior Suite with Mountain view which offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomites. Waking up with that view before you go skiing is worth every penny. We mostly stayed in the very angle of the room nearby the balcony, which conveniently offers a built-in couch and gives you the opportunity to squeeze in and enjoy looking through the window during harsh winter weather. The staff is welcoming, and breakfast is rich with different choices and home-grown fresh food. The scrambled eggs were one of the best ever made, and the same goes for their cheese, ham and coffee selection. Hotel's location is also good, right at the main street of Dobiacco. The road is however quiet during most of the night as it's away from the main road which connects it with other nearby cities, meaning there's no traffic.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, perfectly located in a wonderful little town. The staff were incredible, so helpful and kind. We wish we could have stayed for the month! The waiters in the restaurant were so lovely and attentive. The rooms were big, the spa and garden downstairs were amazing and the hotel offer so many excursions and activities. You can tell they put so much effort into everything at this hotel and it really shows. We were so sad to leave and can’t wait to return in the winter season and also next summer!
