The hotel is right on the river side, we got a room with a view to the forest and the river. The room itself was very spacious, traditional Japanese style with tatami flooring. Felt very authentic and made you feel close to the nature. The staff was wonderful. The reception was very welcoming, lending us umbrellas when it was raining. Another thing that left a big impression was the food and the kitchen staff. We got both dinner and breakfast and were surprised by how kind and engaging the servers were, not to mention the food was incredible. The only regret was not staying here longer.

Don't feel like staying at a hotel but feel like at home. Being a guest that do not speak Japanese to have a hotel staff they speak good English just make my holiday plan all work out and better than I expected.
