It was in a really good location, only 5 minutes from the night market. The room was new, spacious and very comfortable, room service everyday, breakfast was delicious. We missed our flight due to a Visa error and ended up staying much longer, the staff made us feel very welcome

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

The Luang Say Residence is gorgeous, with French colonial style rooms set amidst a lovely tropical garden. The pool is large, clean and well maintained. A true oasis. The hotel is a little far from the centre of town, but free bikes and regular shuttles make it easy.

The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

The Belmond was a wonderful home away from home. The hotel had a beautiful design and offered magnificent views of the mountains. Accessing Luang Prabang was easy thanks to the shuttle transport provided by the hotel. Our family suite was spacious, clean and had excellent amenities. However, what made this place truly exceptional was the staff. They went above and beyond to treat us like family, making sure all our needs were met, sometimes even anticipating them before we asked. We would like to give a special shoutout to Andre and the restaurant staff for taking such great care of us. We look forward to returning to this amazing place.

I booked this hotel after reading positive reviews and it truly lived up to the expectations. The location is excellent – close to local markets, restaurants, and easy access to transport. Morning walks to the market for breakfast and evening strolls at the night market were highlights of my trip. The room wasn’t huge, but it was spotless and cleaned daily. All amenities worked great. Most importantly, the staff were lovely – always cheerful and helpful when I needed directions or assistance. Among the many hotels I’ve stayed at, this one stood out for its warmth and friendliness. It felt like home. Highly recommended!

All the staff went out of their way to give an excellent service - reception, buggy drivers, restaurant and bar staff. Breakfast was excellent. I loved returning after a busy time in town to the peace and tranquility of the hotel’s beautiful setting. The shuttle bus was brilliant. The swimming pools were lovely too. I felt I was in paradise.
