recently had the pleasure of staying at Wild Planet Eco Retreat in Bardia National Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. The eco-friendly rooms, crafted with local materials, reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability. The entire team, comprised of dedicated local workers, demonstrated a sincere passion for wildlife conservation.The highlight of my stay was the guided jungle walk with Baba, an exceptionally skilled guide and photographer. His professionalism and ability to capture stunning wildlife moments left me in awe. Baba's dream of creating awareness about wildlife and its importance to people is truly commendable.This retreat is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, offering not just a comfortable stay but also a chance to connect with nature in a meaningful way. From start to finish I can just say that I had a wonderful time at Mr B's Place. The property is situated in a beautiful location right next to the entrance of Bardia National Park. I opted mainly for local food and that was delicious. The guided walks into the park were great and the guides were attentive and very knowledgeable. It was a privilege to see bengal tigers and indian rhino in the wild like that and the evening talks around the fireplace will stay long in the memory bank. I will definitely recommend Mr B's Place to friends and family. Thank you for a great time.

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

The stay was comfortable rooms were amazing. My family and friends (15 people) travelling loved it. The food was spot on the safari was amazing the staff was very very attentive and helpful

My stay at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay was nothing more than exceptional! Since before my arrival to Bardiya, Mukti was making sure through what's app that I knew how to arrive at Bardiya since I was crossing from the west border from India to Nepal. The moment I arrived I was received with so much kindness by Renuka (Mukti's wife) and he's mother with a beautiful little Hindu greeting. Showed me to my room which was clean, spacious, with its own attached bathroom and a beautiful view from the garden outside. In the beginning I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 8 days because of how amazing and loving everything in the homestay was. From the delicious cooking of Renuka to the incredible hospitality of all members of Mukti's family. They make you feel like family. I did 3 jungle walks. Because my main purpose was to be lucky enough to see a tiger in the wild! And I can say (with a big smile while writing this) that Mukti made my DREAM (since I was 6 years old) come true! I was able to see a majestic tiger drinking water on my first jungle walk! Not just that but spotted rhinos, many kinds of birds, otters hunting for a snake and many more fauna inside the national park. All of these was possible due to Mukti's incredible knowledge of the place and animals. And this is just one of all the incredible things I experienced at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay! Everyday I ate delicious traditional and organic Nepalese food. Everything is grown in the homestay garden. They even make their own paneer! Oh how I miss Renuka's delicious food! We played cards every night, enjoying great conversations about Nepalese culture and about life in the terai region...Learned how to make momos from scratch. Went around town to experience the local life. And even did a little ride at night around the town with Mukti's nephew in which we were lucky enough to spot a leopard crossing the street!!!
