The owners were really interested in their guests, friendly and approachable for any discussion or questions. The location and facilities met our expectations, such that everything was provided to allow us to self cater. Centrally located with the shops and supermarket all within an easy walk. I would recommend people visiting the Takaka area to stay at this motel.

Our chalet was so comfortable and spacious. We loved the timber ceiling and big windows overlooking the rocks and gardens. Our cabin was very private and quiet.

The host was absolutely amazing. He made my stay well worth it. You are right next to Abel Tasman, really easy to go hiking.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station.

Lovely location right in the town. A building with character, so a really nice place to stay. Sitting area outside in the garden was a bonus.
