We had a super great time and it was such a special experience to sleep in your camp. All the crew members were very kind and helpfull. Also the camp on itself was beautiful and clean! We want to give an extra compliment to the cook, because the traditional food was very good. By far the best we had on our holiday in Oman. A surplus for us was that we could reach the camp by a normal car (so not a 4x4). Further we did a lot of activities as a camel ride, a sunset quad tour and last but not least we tried the sand board. There, Mana surprised us by dunebashing with the 4x4. All the three activities were great and the whole crew has a special place in our heart! Wonderful staff and beautiful location

A little distance away from the other camps and up on a ridge so the views over the dunes are amazing. The tents on stilts also great! Dinner and breakfast wonderful, hosts very friendly around the campfire. Easy pickup from local town where we left our hire car. Great experience!

Very beautiful spot. Well-designed and well-decorated bubble. Issa is an extremely kind and accommodating owner. PERFECT stay! Definitely the best camp in the desert. Simple good meal and very large quantity !

Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp is located in Shāhiq and offers a restaurant buffet. It includes table tennis and darts. The accommodation will provide you with a seating area.

Beautiful place in the middle of the desert with lots of luxury. Large dinner and breakfast buffet were provided and even a cinema at the dunes in the evening. The staff was accommodating and very supportive. They even gave us tips where to go for night star watching and any other questions we had.

Dune and sunset tours impressed. Nice half day tour. Amazing food. Amazing rooms. Amazing location. Helpful transportation from town to the camp (we couldn't take our rental into the Sands). Freedom to walk up the dunes at night on your own (I went out for astrophotography).
