Martina and Ivan were great hosts, extremely friendly and very responsive. We were shown around the property upon arrival, Martina shoeed us how to use the sauna, where to store the skies, etc. and she even recommended us restaurants nearby.

I have gluten allergy and there was gluten-free bread for breakfast and I could eat gluten-free meal. We arrived to the hotel and the next day we wanted to go hiking, but my car's battery dead. The hotel staff helped for us. He took me with the hotel's car to the nearby town (Brezno), where I could buy a new battery. He took me back to the hotel and helped to replace the battery and the car was repaired. I am very grateful to the hotel staff. They saved our vacation.

We had an amazing time at the Damian Hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive—words cannot do them justice. We rented ski equipment, and Tom and Luboš were highly professional, assisting us with everything we needed, always with a smile. The breakfast and dinner were both rich and delicious, served with a beautiful view. A special thanks to Lukáš, who provided excellent service with a big smile and a cheerful attitude. The hotel also features a well-stocked wine room with a fantastic selection. Martin gave us the best recommendations and kindly explained each option, making the experience unforgettable. Valerii from the restaurant also went above and beyond, serving us with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Overall, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and we highly recommend it. I haven't been so pleasantly surprised at a Slovakian hotel in a long time. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, the room was beautifully new and spacious with a large balcony, and great for dogs. Restaurants with good food, the breakfast was rich, and the quality was at the level of more than a 3-star hotel. There was a diverse and well-chosen selection of wine to choose from. and It was close to nature, right on the slopes. The off-season price is really favorable.
