Amazing service, thanks to Derek and all his team. I travel quite a lot across Africa and this has been the most amazing level of service in many years. This is really a sustainable / eco-resort and you feel super integrated in the environment. The staff will do anything as necessary to keep you happy. In my case they helped so much for some important videocalls that I had to have during my stay. I can only recommend this fantastic hotel!

Beautiful Beach, Breakfast is really good with a varieties and different choices every morning and also flexible to have what you want...especially that we had young children. Dinner is also a wide range of cuisine to choose from and different every night...! The food is just fantastic...! The front desk staff...Khalid and Flora are very professional and would do anything to accommodate your needs, the restaurant and kitchen staff are extremely nice and very friendly...Our three Boys really enjoyed the attention from all the staff. The Hotel Manager very helpful and not forgetting Big Ben...very professional and very helpful and both Manager and Big Ben made sure we had everything we requested...! Thank you ALL...!

We really enjoyed our staying at Matemwe Ocen View. Laucin is a fantastic host, his attention to details, quality of service it is comparable to a 5 stars Hotel. The level of cleaning is difficult to find it in any place in Europe, his cooking is superb and we even find a way to exchange culinary tricks. And do we want to talk about his margaritas.....wow!!!!! The villa is beautiful, comfortable and big and it is just 6/7 minutes from matemwe beach. We really enjoyed spending time at his villa where you can find a very nice swimming pool and a beautifully cared garden. We found a great deal of privacy, and we enjoyed spending time with Laucin the host who delighted us with his stories. And thank as well to Ney Laucin's wife. Good luck guys! You rock! The room and facility were beautiful! The pool was so so nice and the beach next door was lovely to watch the sunset. The owner and staff were very friendly. I would reccomend if you want a quiet get away and escape from the hussle in other areas.

We all loved TUI and had amazing holidays. We would definitely come back! The property is beautiful, has a lot of activities and a tropical scenery. Now to the specifics: The staff in general were super friendly and happy. A special thanks to Kelvin from the beach bar. The food was absolutely amazing, from the breakfast buffet, to the lunch in green & grill (paid, as we had only half pension), to all the dinner options - except Andiamo, see below. We specially loved the buffets at the beach and around the pool. We did 2 tours from the hotel which were great and the same price of outside companies. We strongly recommend the swimming with dolphins tour, that can be book at the hotel’s diving shop. Go in the afternoon when there’s less people. They take you on a boat and when you see dolphins you jump to the water! It’s a good workout as you do this multiple times to get a perfect shot :) The swimming pool is great and always had chairs available - great due to the low tide at the beach. This side of the island has the low tide phenomenon which makes it impossible to go swim in the ocean for some hours. But that’s nature. If you do try, take aqua shoes because there’s a lot of sea urchins. There’s free sandwiches, fruit and water at the reception 24h/day.
