Breakfast and the six causes dinner was fantasic. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Hotel is in a gorgeous environment. The hostess is jubilant and accommodating. We recommend the 5 star Picknick in the garden and the spa. All together was a very, very special experience. we definitely will come back.

What a wonderful stay. Friendly owner and staff. Amazing 4 course meal and lovely range of wines. Such a beautiful setting and so quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night but alas such is the nature of business. Hope to come back for a more leisurely visit.

After a hectic 2 weeks of travel through South Africa we found the perfect place to relax and unwind. Ilara was the perfect hostess and we combined our stay with a pamper day at Summerfield and a Panorama Route excursion. The meals at Plumbago are 5 star and the staff are friendly and helpful. Sandy was super supportive, before, during and after my stay there. I would definitely recommend to stay there anytime. I was relying on public transport, so Sandy helped me a lot getting around by recommending a shuttle service or either give me a lift herself. The chalet was clean, and everything you need is available to make your stay amazing. Riekie is absolutely amazing. She is so helpful. She guided me regarding the best spots to see. It was soo peaceful and quiet. The location is also central, and I would highly recommend Eagles Nest!!
