Insika Lodge was fabulous! As the first staff there told us: “welcome to your new home”, we felt like home during 5 nights. We came for a wedding and we absolutely lived everything of the stay. The room was amazing, I slept so well. All the staff were always nice and arranging towards us!

The room was better than the photos! Large and very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub too which was a plus given it was winter. There is also a spa onsite which we used and would recommend. Staff were fantastic and the restaurant had good quality food at reasonable prices.

Very friendly staff, fantastic pool/verandah area, and very clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor. We all slept so well. Our truck was also cleaned for us, which was a lovely surprise.

These are beautiful apartments in a lovely quiet area. The apartments are spacious and well laid out. Excellent for families and groups. Everything is provided for you and anything you need you can just ask. They are cleaned regularly. The pool is great too. We were very well looked after from being picked up at the airport, shown around anywhere we needed to go and organising our trips for us, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Vimbai and Tinashe for all their assistance! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again.

A 1000% rating? Please. That’s barely enough to cover breakfast. What do you get when you cross an ex-professional cricketer with a master chef? The best darn hosts in all of Victoria Falls. Enter Atiesh and Gary – the dynamic duo of Zambezi Family Lodge. One swings bats (and schedules) like a champ, and the other swings ladles like he’s aiming for a Michelin star. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out if Gary was cooking or performing edible magic tricks. Every dish he made felt like it came with a drumroll and a standing ovation from my taste buds. I was living in a daily food coma – the delicious kind. Meanwhile, Atiesh – always grinning, always calm – had my entire itinerary running smoother than a brand-new Land Rover. From adrenaline-pumping activities to gentle morning wake-ups (yes, he made sure I actually got up on time!), this guy had everything sorted with the precision of a Swiss watch. The room? Spotless. The pool and BBQ area? Basically a 5-star resort, minus the pretentiousness and with way better vibes. In short: if you’re not staying here, you’re missing out on gourmet food, local adventures, and a level of hospitality that makes you wonder if you accidentally became royalty. Book it. Thank me later.
