Offering a restaurant, Gasthof Alpenblick is located in Kollmitzberg, 3,500 metres uphill from the Donau cycling track. Free WiFi access is available. This hotel and its panoramic view was a highlight of our vacation! The area is so picturesque. It has a restaurant, so being slightly removed from Grein was not a problem. It was a welcome change from being in the city & cobblestones and so far away from nature. I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel and its restaurant and would encourage others to make a special effort to stay there.

The breakfast offered a great selection, and the traditional dinners served at the in-house restaurant really added to the authentic alpine experience. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the brand new sauna, a fantastic way to unwind after a day of hiking. We also had tons of fun trying out the German-style bowling (kegelbahn) in the basement - a unique and entertaining addition to the hotel's amenities. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone looking to explore the stunning surrounding mountains. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of charming tradition, warm hospitality, and modern comforts.

Το Haus am Bächle έχει θέα στον κήπο και προσφέρει μπαλκόνι και καφετιέρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Αβαείο Melk είναι περίπου 49 χλμ μακριά. The most relaxing and calm place, with the most helpful and welcoming owners, great furniture and totally equipped. If sometime live bring me in the area again there is no doubt I will book this house for me and my family again! Thank you! 🙏

Great accommodation with fully equipped kitchen, wonderfully situated farmhouse and fabulous breakfast. We were able to view the cows, the newly born calves and chicken which was fun for city slicker! The young farmer family are doing a great job and guests feel very welcome. Would love to come again!
