The barrier-free eduCARE Hotel in Treffen is a 10-minute walk away from the banks of the Ossiachersee Lake. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

And in addition it was totally quiet! The property is beautiful and has access to a mountain stream in the back. excellent breakfast was served right into the room. lovely hosts.

Host of this guesthouse is Sandra, who is really customer oriented, kind and helpful person, thanks for her! The location is excellent, very ideal for hiking, going to different programmes every day (Gerlitzen Alpe, Villach Alpenstrasse, Pyramidenkogel, Nockberge, etc). We had a nice view from the room to the lake and Gerlizten alpen mountains. Worth to buy the Karinthen Card (you can buy at the host), it is really great.

We had great time in Gasthof Martinihof. The room was clean, spacious with cool temperature. There were some farms animals and herb garden. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The location of the property was excellent for us. It was in the mountains with beautiful views and not too far from the Faak am See lake. You will need a car though to get to the property, lake and move around. Over all great experience, do recommend it.

Apart Hotel Legendär enjoys an idyllic location directly on the shore of Lake Ossiach. All apartments have 2 LCD TVs. Wi-Fi access is free of charge. Very nice apartment with the balcony, nice view to the lake ... anf very funny style of the breakfast .

Beautiful and calm location, all rooms facing the lake. The meals were amazing, every evening something different, something special for dinner in beautiful creations, breakfast had also various delights. The sauna area is great, with lots of comfortable beds for relaxation, the sauna at the lake is especially enjoyable when the sun is setting. Staff is super nice!

Το Winter- und Skivergnügen - Gerlitzen Alpe und zentrumsnah βρίσκεται στο Φίλλαχ, σε απόσταση 2,7 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Φρούριο Landskron. Παρέχει σαλόνι με τηλεόραση επίπεδης οθόνης. We loved the apartment as it has a gorgeous view from the terrace. It is quiet and equipped with all amenities (including equipment for cooking and many basics to use for dining - like salt, pepper, oil, paper towel, tea bags, etc.). We liked to eat breakfast and dinner on the terrace. While the apartment is not in a modern style, this did not bother us as it was visible on the pictures when we booked and we chose this place for the location and not for style. The bathroom though is renovated and super clean. The building has an entrance to the lake, so any time is possible to go down and have a swim or enjoy the garden. Parking was never a problem in front of the place. Attractions for kids are easily available. If you use Karnten card many are for free. The nearest station of the ship is in walking distance. We left an item in the apartment and Thomas on the same day sent it by post. I find this exceptional.
