Being the only ski-in and ski-out hotel in Bansko, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko is located in the very heart of the mountain resort, right across the Gondola lift station. My wife and I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Bansko, and while most of the experience was exceptional, there were a couple of things worth noting. First, the breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10. The egg station was a standout, with fresh and perfectly prepared dishes each morning. The variety and quality were excellent. We were served by Darko during dinner, and he was truly exceptional. His wine recommendations were spot-on, and he made our dining experience special. Props to him for his impeccable service. The reception was welcoming and efficient, and the pool area was fantastic—well-maintained and the perfect spot to relax. However, one thing that bothered us was the lack of enforcement of the restaurant’s dress code. While there is a policy in place, we noticed people dining in shorts, and worse, some were even blowing their noses at the tables, but everything else was exceptional.

We stayed in this apartment for just one night, but it truly exceeded all our expectations. The place is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and impeccably clean. It’s very well-equipped, with thoughtful touches in both the kitchen and bathroom—things like a hairdryer, toaster, coffee machine, a selection of cosmetics, teas, and coffee made it feel like a luxury stay. We were warmly welcomed in person, and the host was exceptionally kind and helpful, offering useful tips about the area with genuine enthusiasm. The view from the windows and balcony over the mountains is simply stunning, and the quiet location on the edge of town gave us peace and privacy, while still being just a short drive from the city center. Given the high standard and all the amenities, the price was more than fair—excellent value for money. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the area. I definitely plan to return—this place must be magical in the winter season, and I can't wait to experience it then!

It was exceptionally clean and well kept, better than some 5* properties on this count. Very comfortable mattresses, pillows. Quiet rooms. We met three receptionists during our brief stay and they were helpful, smiley and accommodating to our requests. Strongly recommended when in Petrich.
