I was worried about how far away it was from San Ignacio but there is a bus stop near the property and that meant you could go and explore San Ignacio and the ruins surrounding it really easily. River and the ruins on the property are also great.

The staff were wonderful and the grounds were stunning. Our room was also beautiful. We loved the on-site activities including the stables, butterfly sanctuary and canoes.

The room was spacious and very comfortable and we loved the privacy of our own little cabin. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car in Belize City and drove the 90 minutes to the resort ourselves, as shuttles to the property are very expensive and once you arrive there isn’t anything within walking distance. You can take the bus into Belmopan, but the freedom of having our own car was wonderful. This is a great home base for cave tubing and other jungle adventures and for visiting Mayan ruins.
