Made us feel incredibly welcome and shared a lot of Costa Rican history with us. He also gave us advice of where to go, what to see and eat in puerto viejo. The property is also close to one of the best beaches. Was super relaxing and everyone was so friendly. The drinks were awesome, the included breakfast was delicious and the pool was also really nice. Highly recommend! Also, there are howler monkeys in the area which were awesome to hear and see, and with a short walk off the property there are so many other cool animals to see, Like toucans and macaws!

We loved the hotel because it was very cosy and the staff was just absolutely brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful and smiling ! so rare ! Well done ! We loved the pool, watching our favorite Netflix show on the tv while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We loved the breakfasts and the massage table ! We recommend this hotel. Bathroom and toilets are also clean and perfect.

Located in Cahuita, 500 metres from Blanca and 21 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Cahuita Apartment by Angie offers air conditioning. I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

La Prometida is a beautiful hotel with a real personal touch from the owners who were also incredibly helpful in advising and providing recommendations for the surrounding area (as were all the staff, who were also so friendly!). Breakfast was also delicious with various options to choose from.
