Wish we had been able to stay longer, highly recommended!

If you want to have the absolute best stay in Luxor, you have to stay at Momo’s Rose Villa. We are a family with two girls aged 15 and 19 and we stayed at the villa for 3 nights. The villa itself is really amazing. Not only does it have a lot of space, it is also equipped with everything you need. It is very clean and has a lovely feel to it to walk on barefoot, which I like a lot. It has a beautiful garden with so many flowers and a really nice pool, equipped with sunbeds and a nice lawn to play on or lie in the sun. Even a lovely seat to drink your coffee early in the morning. A little present for the girls: Momo has a really sweet cat (Mimi) which had three little kittens at the time we had our stay. My girls named the kittens Ramses (red one because he was the most playful), Isis (black one, because Isis is the goddess of magic), Cleo (from Cleopatra because she was the most beautiful). Momo is a really terrific host, so very, very kind with this fantastic positive vibe we really loved. You can reach him any time of the day and he helps you with everything you need. He absolutely makes sure that you lack nothing. He even wants to take you on his sailing boat for a small price to see the sunset from the Nile. (Unfortunately, we missed that one because a sandstorm was announced). Even though the temple of Luxor is on the other side of the Nile, you can get there by boat in 5 minutes, which Momo arranges for you or he takes you himself. Rose Villa is, without a doubt, the best place to stay in this area if you do want to see and feel the real life of the Egyptians but in the meanwhile stay in a clean and luxurious villa. We really, really loved it!!!

Είναι στο Λούξορ και απέχει 3,6 χλμ από Colossi of Memnon. 1) The Host Mostafa is exceptionally helpful, considerate, generous, caring, trustworthy & kind beyond expectation. He assisted us in planning with patience on the travel itinerary months before my arrival for my 21 days trip to tour Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada. He & his brother are always present at the property to ensure we have a comfortable stay. 2) The host speaks good english and staffs friendly, attentive and helpful. 3) The travel plan was well organized, smooth, comfortable on private tour in ab air-condition vehicle with Guide whenever we needed with high flexibility at affordable cost. Highly recommend having Full Moon House to plan if you needed one. 4) Safe place to stay. Location is good on the west bank of the Nile, less busy & within few minutes walking distance to markets, restaurants and ferry terminal to cross to East bank to Luxor Temple terminal. 3 minutes walk to the left is a chinese restaurant "Two Stories", offering good authentic chinese food & 2 minutes walk to the right is Hamada mini market which the Owner is honest selling at standard price for both local and foreigners without taking advantage. 5) We stayed 7 nights at the Penthouse unit with breathtaking View of the Nile and Across the East Bank Luxor Temple. Unit is reasonably big with all needed cooking utensils but did not really utilize the kitchenette. There is a washing machine downstairs and the staff Mohamad is very helpful, offered to wash and dry our clothes during the week without charge. 6) Do not miss out on the Sunset Felucca boat ride just outside the accomodation, Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride on this west Bank side. All the locals we met on this side of river bank are friendly, polite even if we reject their offer for a boat ride. 7) Easy access to East bank with EGY 100 for private boat just outside accomodation, EQY 20 for foreigner on public ferry though a bit further down the road. 8) Try the local grapes and the sugar cane juice.

This historic hotel is a luxury landmark built in 1886 in distinctive authentic Victorian style. The Winter Palace is an elegant refuge from the heat of trekking through tombs. The room was beautiful, the beds heavenly, and the food delicious. We loved the pool, the shady lounges, and the ability to enjoy a cup of tea on our quiet balcony. The highlight, however, was the staff, particularly Esraa, who was unfailingly patient as she helped us navigate a variety of outings. Thank you Esraa for making our stay in Luxor a memorable experience!

Walid and his family were so kind and helpful! He's an architect of the Arabic design style, and those elements are everywhere. What a beautiful space! Also, do not miss the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast added to your stay. The family does an amazing dinner cooked with wood fire underground. They allowed me to video the process, which starts hours before dinner. Truly one of the best meals of our trip in Egypt.
