GranHotel Brilliante was like staying in a grand old dame from the past. The renovation was beautiful and the hotel complements San Estaban. Along with the amazing staff, our stay was perfect.

Located in Beceña, 27 km from The Lakes of Covadonga, Hotel Cerro La Nina provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We stayed here for 5 nights whilst touring the Picos and surrounding area on our motorbike. We booked half board and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, with great views, the food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent and a garage to park the bike was great. It was a perfect location to explore the area with many of the must do sights and roads within easy reach. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our next visit!

Featuring a terrace and restaurant, Hotel Palacio de Merás is located in Tineo. Cafes and restaurants are 50 metres away. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels. So...when you are doing the Camino Primitivo, you are staying at albergues or hostels, very often in shared rooms. The Hotel Palacio de Meras is a four star hotel and only about €8 p/p more than a hostel if you are staying in a double room. We literally thought we were in the wrong place when we arrived. It felt so luxurious!!! The rooms are large and have all the perks of an expensive hotel - great quality soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, a two-sided adjustable make-up mirror, a hair dryer...a mini-fridge... It has a formal dining room, a bar and tables out in the plaza. The portions were insanely big and delicious. And the location is great. A block away from a supermarket, half a block from a pharmacy, and close to other key businesses like cafes, bakeries, and bars.

Hotel Valle Las Luiñas is set on the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage Route and 2 km from San Pedro de la Rivera Beach. Rooms have a private balcony, flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Old historical building, but still very well maintained and updated. On a small village just on the Camino way. Nice view from small balcony. My room had a bath and it was excellent after long walk. The owner was super friendly and enjoyed his work. The price included the breakfast and they had a plenty of tasty food. Also very tasty coffee.

Hotel Villadesella is a typical Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 1.5 km from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. The hotel was delightful. We had a superior room with views over Ribadesella and to the mountains (despite the rain!!). Breakfast was lovely....fresh and well presented. We wanted to eat before hotel restaurant's opening time of 8.30 in the evening so went next door for bbq ribs and salad....very good!!

Situated right in the heart of Avilés' old town, Hotel Palacio de Aviles Affiliated by Melia is a tastefully converted, 17th-century palace. Featuring free Wi-Fi, it is located in Plaza de España. We were very happy with our stay at the Palacio de Avilles. Everything was as expected or better than one would expect at a five star boutique hotel.
