Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. This Chateau is simply superb! The building is beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a nice little outside area to sit and relax without being overlooked. This history of the chateau is fascinating and it’s so nice to see how the grounds are enjoyed by the locals. The grounds are gorgeous, a lovely place to walk about. The staff were incredible, so friendly, so welcoming and so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. They helped us get a taxi into the city centre and reserved a table for us at a wonderful restaurant. There was complimentary water and truffles in our room as well as a treat for our dog and an extremely reasonably priced mini bar. There’s a self-service bar area also which is a pretty room with a piano and complementary tea and coffee which is a beautiful space. There’s certainly something very special about this place, I look forward to going back when I’m next in Strasbourg.

Situated in Gueberschwihr, 10 km from Colmar Train Station, Hôtel Terra Vinum features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Quiet location among vineyards, and at the same time very close to the centre of the Alsatian village (5 mins on foot). Everything is new and fresh. The bed is very comfortable. The room convenient and nicely designed. The staff super nice and helpful.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Charming apartment with Garden, Free Parking near Basel, Airport, Ger'many, France, is located in Saint-Louis. This was a well appointed and very comfortable apartment with a small fully enclosed garden. It was an excellent place to stay with my dog when travelling. Highly recommend. Lots of little extra touches that warrant the 10 rating.
