Porthmadog
Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. Porrmerrion is a unique location and experience that has been a part of our lives on family trips for over forty years so to have the opportunity to stay there in a gorgeous suite overlooking the village and the estuary was just magical.
Tal-y-llyn
With a magnificent location, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty and dramatic scenery of the Snowdonia National Park, the Tynycornel Hotel looks out over its own 222-acre fishing lake. The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.
Morfa Nefyn
Set just 35 km from Portmeirion, Bryn Noddfa provides accommodation in Morfa Nefyn with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. Guest rooms and restaurant were excellent, all people at the hotel incredibly friendly and helpful.
Porthmadog
Offering a garden and quiet street view, Gwynfa is set in Porthmadog, 28 km from Snowdon and 34 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. Betel was a wonderful hostess. We arrived early for our check-in but she welcomed us anyway. Thank you! She provided lots of good information as to where to eat and explore. The room was bright, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
Aberdaron
Overlooking the sandy beach of Aberdaron, Gwesty Ty Newydd is a well-appointed bed and breakfast on north west Wales’ Llyn Peninsula. The location was brilliant, the room was perfect, the food was yummy it was all just perfect and will definitely go back.
Bala
On the edge of Snowdonia National Park, Palé Hall 5 red star Relais Chateaux property set in a Victorian manor house hotel with 18 elegant rooms in the main building and 4 garden suites. The local area is beautiful, and the hall and grounds were gorgeous, too. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, and worth the stay alone. The 6 EV car chargers were a fantastic bonus too which meant the rural location did not hamper any further travel or exploration.
Talsarnau
Estuary Lodge Motel B&B is located in the quiet village of Talsarnau, in Snowdonia national park, within 5 miles of the coast. Everything was gid. Wud recommended it to friends

Set in Llithfaen, within 37 km of Portmeirion and 39 km of Snowdon Mountain Railway, Nant Gwrtheyrn offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who... Stunning location and friendly staff. The studio room was perfect and very well equipped for a short stay. Breakfast was very good.
Llanllyfni
Boasting mountain views, Hedd Wen provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 25 km from Portmeirion. The house is great, clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. It has a nice wide terras from where you can enjoy the stunning views. Beautifull sunsets. The owners are kind and helpfull. We loved the animals that came to visit us every day. There are lots of things to do within a short distance. Mount Snowdon is nearby, you can see it from the terras. Lots of nice small villages, the beach and cliffs, a steam train ride, Portmeirion village, etc. Overall highly recommended!
Mynytho
Offering a garden and sea view, Idyllic holiday near Abersoch is set in Mynytho, 36 km from Portmeirion and 19 km from Nefyn & District Golf Club. Return visit to this fabulous bungalow.It is in a perfect location in a lovely peaceful spot which was close to the many beautiful beaches in the area. It is super clean and the owner was very responsive and helpful when I contacted her to ask questions before arrival
