Located just 600 metres from Skiathos' Port, Niso Skiathos provides accommodation in Skiathos Town with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. We have been visiting Greece 2-3 times a year for 20 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed! The price is not cheap, but you get more than what you paid for! The hotel is either new or recently renovated. Even the smallest details have been thought of. We had at our disposal, in addition to the two terraces of the apartment, a common terrace with soft furniture! Every day they provided us with cold mineral water, Nespresso capsules and small snacks! Daily cleaning, change of towels and sheets! The hosts are always available, without being intrusive. Close to the coastal street, but very quiet. Between stops 0 and 1. For those who take the bus, it is super convenient - 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes walk to the airport. If we visit Skiathos again, we have "our place!"

Amazing location, amazing view, amazing pool, amazing staff, good facilities (kitchen with coffee machine, car/atv rental from the resort) and very close to town. I loved our staying at Sky Sea Resort!

Featuring garden views, Kallisti Apartments features accommodation with balcony, around 700 metres from Skiathos Plakes Beach. It is located 300 metres from Skiathos' Port and offers a lift. Our stay was fantastic! The apartment is spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff was absolutely amazing, always checked how we are and if we needed something, everyone was ready to help immediately if we asked for something. The cleaning lady came every day, so the apartment stayed clean. Also, the building has an elevator and you don’t need to carry heavy luggage upstairs on your own.

Situated 300 metres from Skiathos Port, Anthena Studios features a swimming pool and snack bar. It offers air-conditioned studios with free Wi-Fi and balcony overlooking the sun terrace or the town. Very friendly owners and an immaculately clean room. The swimming pool was surprisingly nice being located in the middle of the city, although I never had a chance to use it.

Ideally located in the protected area of the Strofilia Lake, 200 metres from the award-winning Koukounaries Beach, Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel features a swimming pool and restaurant. Skiathos is awesome, small, very lush, with plenty of excellent beaches, very friendly locals and impressive cuisine (sometimes unfortunately toned down a bit to meet the taste of the tourists; look for places a bit off the main throughfares). The only issue is that it gets very crowded and there are a lot of obnoxious and loud British, who seem to think that they own the place. Visiting the Monastery of Evangelistria is a must (the aforementioned British are excused from this). Local honey and wine are exquisite (for the latter, refer to the wine list in the restaurant). The hotel is very close to Koukounaries Beach (5 mins walk, downhill - uphill on the way back...), which is beautiful, but quite noisy and crowded, especially in the early afternoon, when the water taxis bring in hordes of tourists from the city. Banana Beach is supposed to be very nice, but has all but been taken over by the nearby luxury hotel, could not find a way there. Best bet is to rent a car and visit the genuinely awesome secluded beaches on the western/northern shore, accessible via a dirt road (watch out for people, who do have a quad, but not common sense). Note that there are only a few understocked and overpriced shops and small choice of restaurants in the area. For shopping groceries, rent a car and head to one of the Sklavenitis shops (biggest one is next to the airport). The hotel itself comprises of several small buildings scattered around in a beautifully kept garden, rooms are nice and spacious. The swimming pool is quite small, but there is no reason why anyone would spend any time there with all the awesome beaches around. The staff are very professional, helpful and kind. As regards breakfast: this is one of the rare cases when "excellent" is right on point.

Boasting a balcony with sea views, an infinity pool and a fitness centre, Sky Sea Resort & Villas can be found in Skiathos Town, close to Megali Ammos Beach and 3.1 km from Skiathos' Port. Everything is great, Villa is quite spacious, it has everything you might need during your stay. Anyway, the hosts are so kind that even if you need something else they will provide for you. Location is great, the view is amazing. Its quiet and very calm. Just a friendly tip: heating one of the pools or putting a jacuzzi would be great, as the water is not so warm especially in the mornings.

Offering pool views, Hikers Studio Trail 5 and 6 is an accommodation set in Skiathos Town, 3.6 km from Skiathos Castle and 4.1 km from Skiathos' Port. The studio is well-lived but had everything we needed + great views, absolute tranquility, and a bunch of very friendly cats. Michael and Vicky are genuinely kind hosts who made us feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a simple place, deeply connected to nature and blissfully disconnected from the internet, don’t hesitate to book.
