Boasting mountain views, Maha Neka Villa provides accommodation with balcony, around 30 km from Goa Gajah. We loved Maha Neka and its owners! Such a nice family that goes extra mile to make you feel like home. I read in previous comments that there’s a building now obstructing the view. I didn’t find that as a problem considering the other building blends with the nature. That’s definitely not a reason not to choose this place. The room was spacious and very clean, the garden same, and it’s a big plus that they have their own restaurant if you’re not in the mood of going out. Loved it! Will definitely come back!

Beautiful property, lovely and spacious rooms. Signage in bathroom indicating hot and cold taps are reversed are very helpful. Staff very helpful.

Situated in Kubu, less than 1 km from Tulamben Beach, Lunar Dive Resort: Bamboo Villas features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Beautiful boutique resort. Clean, modern, tasteful, comfortable. Gorgeous pool (deep!!). Quiet, restful. Hosts were direct, personable, and knowledgable. Also, they have created a network of local transportation and dining options and can quickly and easily arrange for food and/or transportation of your choice (for very fair prices). Hosts (Pieter and Elsa) also offer Open Water Scuba Diving Courses for an excellent rate and premier 1:1 instruction. My daughter completed the course while we were there and we found the entire process to be top-tier.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, Secret Moon Beach House is located in Jasri. The place is fantastic! It is ten times better than in the photos. You get - an insane bathtub that you can fill with water, a private beach (just for you), a huge space, and, as a bonus - orthopedic pillows. This is insane, first place in a few years of my travelling that has orthopedic pillows.

Bali North Beach Villa, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Tianyar, 48 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace, 18 km from Lake Batur, as well as 33 km from Kintamani. You must remember this is a BnB accomidation its a very private compound with only a couple of guest room. Very private. Such a personal experience better than being in a hotel. The staff are amazing and GoGo just makes it feel like home. Our first two days there were others staying there so we didn't ask much of the staff. After they left we had the whole place to ourselves and to our dismay the owners who we were hoping to meet had also gone on holiday. So we took the chance to make the place like home and asked that the owners dog be aloud out to play with us. Our kids loved having the animals around. The pool was right out our front door and behind that the beach and ocean. There was a massage hut and a small hut with a beer fridge and seating to watch the sunsets. They are very accomidating with people's needs and when we asked if our family could come to us instead of us going up the mountain to their house every day we were told to bring them down and they were most welcome. The staff organised a fishing trip for myself and my brother in laws and we even had use of the kayaks which were a huge hit with my son.

We recommend Healing Spa a few doors up from the villa, exceptional service and value. We loved local walks and feeling a part of this warm and friendly village community.

Really nice restaurant with friendly staff. Also great snorkel location, close to the underwater temple. Would really recommend!
