Το παλαιότερο πανδοχείο της Ιρλανδίας βρίσκεται στις όχθες του λιμανιού Killary. We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

The breakfast was very nice a la carte and served to the table. The dinner was superb a well selected choice from what you can get local. Especially the fish and the oysters are great you could smell the atlantic. Rooms very clean and very nice.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. the warmth of the staff, the bedroom and the 2 owners, Brian and Ronan were excellent with the clients

The location is amazing, nestle in a cove by the fjords is an idyllic setting. Service, food, people very friendly and welcoming, the best thing for me was the peat fire burning In guests areas and the lobby.

Το Dooneen House έχει θέα στην πόλη και διαθέτει αυλή και καφετιέρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kylemore Abbey είναι περίπου 19 χλμ μακριά. Such a gorgeous house - so well built, fresh and comfortable. A pleasure to stay in. We are already planning our return visit :)

Το Audley's είναι ένα κατάλυμα που προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στη θάλασσα. Είναι σε Lettermullan. What did I like? Well, we LOVED absolutely everything! - from the perfect communication (super-detailed - everyone should communicate like that) to the 'Welcome Croissants' and batch of ice per person! The place was flawless and immaculate, with every possible facility/appliance you could imagine. 4 spacey bedrooms with big, comfy beds, huge living room - bread, sauces, spices, classy cutlery, great bathroom (shower with easy access), anything you could possibly think of! The place is in a beautiful area - perfect for those looking for something special and not crowded, to reboot, re-charge and just breathe! I went with my parents for their 40th Wedding Anniversary and we loved it instantly - each bit and every moment, wish we stayed longer but had a really busy schedule. We had a lovely walk to the near Foirnis Island, beautiful views, we are really glad we have chosen Audley's and recommend to absolutely everyone, especially those seeking serenity. THE NEW STANDARD! Το Delphi Lodge βρίσκεται σε Leenaun, σε απόσταση 29 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kylemore Abbey και προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ποδήλατα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κήπο και βεράντα. Very nice location, especially if you are up for some hikes in the area (or are into fishing). The staff is super friendly and very helpful, despite us arriving really late (apologies again ;-)). The breakfast has been great, however the very best experience has been the delicious diner in style with other (few) guests on the long dining table.

Ballynahinch is the real deal! We, as visitors, really wanted to treat ourselves to a stay at a "Castle Hotel", and we truly had a wonderful stay. Just fantastic. I would go again in a heartbeat. In contrast, we stayed at an unrelated castle hotel very near Donegal Town, at about the same price point, and it was disappointing. That other place was basically just a large quite generic hotel with a fancy old-looking stone facade and fountain out front. Pretty fake. No comparison. Ballynahinch is the gold standard! In fact, it was the best single element of our 15-day Irish holiday.
