Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

The Lake Myvatn area around the hotel was everything we hoped for and more. The trails around the nearby lake offered excellent walking and hiking. The hotel is quite close to other area attractions including the Myvatn baths. The included breakfast was exceptional with more choices than one could hope to work through in a stay of several days. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and service from hotel and restaurant staff was very good. We enjoyed our stay.
