Just 5 minutes' walk from the Padre Pio Sanctuary in San Giovanni Rotondo, this 4-star hotel features a restaurant, and a spiritual centre with 2 chapels and a convention hall. Excellent hotel, right below the Sanctuary. It's a steep climb but short, especially if you find the shortcut. The receptionists (who mostly spoke English) and the cleaning ladies we would meet in the hallway were so lovely and nice. The room was clean and spacious and the small fridge was great to have. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. We don't stay at hotels a lot so not sure if that's common but there was a room with an iron and ironing board which was very handy to have (and it had a schuko socket unlike the room). Breakfast was very good with a variety of offer, and lunch was very affordable and delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Opened in 2010, Hotel Vittoria is in San Giovanni Rotondo centre less than 5 minutes' walk from the Sanctuary of Padre Pio. It offers air-conditioned rooms and a buffet breakfast. I will highly recommend this hotel to our friends who would like to visit SGR. The location is perfect, it’s near the bus station & definitely near the sites you would like to spend time on. Use of elevator for elders are so useful.

Featuring a bar, Hotel SAN PIO is located in San Giovanni Rotondo in the Apulia region, 44 km from Pino Zaccheria Stadium. It was in close proximity to the areas we wanted to visit and to restaurants. It has very comfortable rooms and the breakfast was very good. The staff spoke English which was good for us as we do not know Italian. The staff was very helpful in telling us different places to go to help us on our trip. We used its taxi service to take us to The Cave of St. Michael the Archangel and the driver was very informative.

I like my all my total experienced in the hotel. Everything in the hotel is totally clean. Near the bus stop and close to groceries and Italian bakeries and restos. There is also a laundry area that is waking distance.The nuns who are running the daily operation are so kind. I give this hotel perfect rate! Highly recomended.
