And the “staff” are AMAZING too - always eager to help with any request … including helping to put water in the car windscreen wiper tank!!

There was a hammock on the balcony, a firepit outside the spa in the evening, breakfast had a great range of home cooked food with locally sourced ingredients, including honey made on site. Room was clean and air conditioned with really nice attention to details. All the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to answer any questions we had. Super nice, friendly and relaxing vibe. You can walk to Orta in about 20-30 mins or drive down. There is secure parking too and the train station only a short walk away. Highly recommend this place!

Set in Quarna Sotto and with Borromean Islands reachable within 24 km, Nuova Locanda Posta offers a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Silvia and her husband were charming. The room was really clean and comfortable. The restaurant on site had a great selection and I enjoyed a pre drink in the terrace. I only stayed one night but would definitely like to return. I was really grateful for the very early very delicious breakfast so I could catch my train.
