Featuring a wellness centre with various swimming pools, a hot tub, and a sauna, Hotel Salus Terme - Adults Only is just outside the centre of Viterbo. Clean and comfortable room and bed. Staff was very friendly. Very generous spa use policy. Complimentary refreshments in fridge was a nice treat. We booked this last minute as we were passing through, we didn’t know what to expect. We felt really lucky that we happened upon this place. Would definitely return.

Small, welcoming establishment in a great location near the Porta Fiorentina train station and an easy walk to the historic center. Staff was super helpful and kind. Very accommodating of my "TBD" arrival time. Also held my bag after checkout and before I took the train to Rome that afternoon. Breakfast buffet was ample and service was exceptional.

The pool was absolutely wonderful after a long walk! The room was delightful and the bed so comfortable. Maria even cooked dinner for myself and one other guy. The restaurant wasn’t actually open but she did it anyway and I think that was wonderful of her. It was just a very unique experience. We communicated well thanks to our phones with Google translate! Just a lovely lady, and she even drove me into town to get on the trail for the Via Francigena the next morning. I really appreciated that.

The property is beautiful and new refurbished, large rooms, clean and the owner is a lovely lady, she also brought us delicious home made cookies in the morning. Fridge is equipped with juice, water, cold thee and she welcomed us with crisps and popcorn. Swimming pool is nice and the property is surrounded by threes and nature.

This location was in a quiet location, yet able to reach supermarkets and restaurants in Viterbo city within 10 mins. Spazio Conad, a well stocked supermarket is less than 10 mins drive away. We used this as a base to visit attractions in central and southern Umbria eg Assisi reachable in 1.5 hours drive, quite scenic. The staff (Martina) was super helpful, and very prompt in providing us with all the assistance we needed. The eatery opposite serves good pizza and the owners were very hospitable. Overall I strongly recommend this property if you are planning to visit the area.

A really nice location, with a good mix of modern design into a traditional building and landscape. The lovely staff makes you feel at home, everyone is friendly and relaxed and made us feel at ease. We stayed at the restaurant for the dinners and the food was really good. They also have a nice availability of good wines
