Surrounded by small gardens, Park Hotel Asinara is a 10-minute walk from Stintino town centre. It features air-conditioned accommodation and a free shuttle to La Pelosa beach. The stay was fantastic overall! The location was great, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A big highlight was the free shuttle service to La Pelosa beach, super convenient if you don’t want to pay for parking €1.50/€2 per hour. Giancarlo, the driver, was lovely and made sure to pick us up on the way back. The rooms were very spacious, with a comfortable bed and strong air conditioning. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the cleaning staff were happy to tidy up the room daily if needed. The breakfast buffet was another great feature, offering a wide variety of options, both sweet and savoury, including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries, and yoghurts. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful sea view was such a treat. There’s also a pool at the hotel (we didn’t use it, but it looked like a decent size).

The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel. One of our two favorite hotels in Sardinia, it is 1/2 block from the ferry landing in the heart of Maddalena. The staff are helpful, friendly, warm, and very competent in addressing a wide range of requests Highly recommended

The building is well insulated: we did not need to switch the Aircon on all week despite 36 degree maxima. The choice of materials and attention to detail give the room a feel of discrete luxury. The beds are most comfortable with a good mattress and foam topper and a selection of pillows. The bedding is pure cotton. We had the best sleep of all our stays on the island. The pool and surroundings are kept very clean. The most important though are the brothers Marino and Giampiedro who simply love hosting.

The property was perfect. Location, comfort and staff. The pool was also very nice. The breakfast was also very nice.

After a long flight, the dinner experience was a real treat! It was a cozy and intimate setting where the host shared stories about each course and wine pairing. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Plus, it’s super close to the airport, making it perfect for a quick 1-night stay. We even went back when we came back to the area to buy another bottle of wine.

I had an amazing experience at this beautiful place surrounded by nature. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close enough to everything I needed. The property itself was stunning and incredibly well maintained. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a wonderful setting!

Το Tenuta Paltusa παρέχει καταλύματα σε Calangianus με θέα στο βουνό και περιλαμβάνει εποχική εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, βεράντα και παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου. Beautiful property located on a vineyard. Nice and secluded with a great view and wonderful owners. Had a great time lounging by the large pool and learning about the wines. As others have said, absolutely do the tasting/dinner if available.
