Set in Matsukawa, 24 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!

Our host was super nice and friendly, our family had a utmost warm welcome and introduction of the house. Delighted to see a historical house so well taken care of and the cuisine was just exceptional. To keep it short, I just wish to have stay one more night!

Opened in August 2012, B&B Hotel Hyochoan offers simple Western-style accommodations. Free in-room WiFi is available and guests can enjoy bird watching from the property’s terrace. The hosts were adorable. The room was very clean and comfortable, in a nice neighborhood. The breakfast was the best we had in all our stay in Japan.

Located in the centre of Shibu hot-spring area and a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station, Sakaeya offers Japanese-style accommodations. Beautiful small, cozy ryokan. We had a private onsen in our room and it was wonderful! Staff were beyond friendly and the food was amazing.

A 3-minute walk from Yudanaka Station, Hotel Tsubakino features indoor and outdoor hot spring baths with a vista of snowy mountain peaks. The hotel offers Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. The best Ryokan we ever stayed! Absolutely amazing experience and the location is easily accessible by local train, bus station and by car.
