Set in Matsukawa, 24 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Property was clean and comfortable. Also the host was very kind and cooperative. We did late check in which was also smooth and the food was also good. Host also offered us complimentary ride to the nearest station. Also gave us apples on our way back. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 9.1 km of Otsumago and 9.3 km of Kotoku-ji Temple. Our one night at Takimi House was the highlight of our two-week trip to Japan. The hosts, a lovely couple, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality were truly exceptional. The food was another standout aspect of our stay. Every meal was delicious, but the miso soup was particularly incredible. It was the best we’ve ever had! Additionally, the hosts picked us up and dropped us back off at the train station in Nagiso which was incredibly helpful given the remote location of Takimi House. This extra touch made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Takimi House provided an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.

Centrally located in the Echo Land district, Hakuba Echo Hotel and Apartments offers comfortable rooms with mountain views. It was in an amazing location. The staff were so helpful and friendly! The room was cosy and warm, storage for ski equipment and great breakfast included in the price. Daily shuttle runs to slopes included.

Located in the centre of Shibu hot-spring area and a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station, Sakaeya offers Japanese-style accommodations. The traditional hotel was beautiful, the service was great and we loved the experience. The highlight was the private onsen, followed by a lovely Japanese breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended!

Every single thing is wonderful with this hotel! Especially the staff were simply phenomenal. Outstanding food, beautiful scenery and view, 3 min walk to train station, and semi-private, full-service dining. We had a spacious and impeccable room. Not to be missed!
