It’s a nice new hotel, well decorated, with tatami mats around the property. So you can just wear socks (even provided). The onsen facilities are very nice. Which for us the main reason to visit the hotel. It’s nice that at certain time of day they provide free snacks or even ramen in the evening.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Kyukamura Myoko is located in Myoko, 38 km from Zenkoji Temple and 40 km from Nagano Station. The room was very big and super clean. The view from the room was 😍 The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. They served so many beautiful dishes. It exceed our expectations. Everything was more than delicious. We enjoyed the onsen on site. The shared bathroom had even more things that you need. They thought about every detail. The staff was super friendly and helped us with transport information. We will be back for sure!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Joetsu Myoko-Ekimae is located in Joetsu, 47 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 31 km from Lake Nojiri. Winter 2025. Being next to the Lawson was incredibly convenient. The location was sort of noisy due to the Shinkansen/train running. The Onsen was wonderful when visited outside of the busy times. Parking on-site was ¥500 and a one-time in-and-out transaction. However, parking is a bit small and does get full. The Times parking South/Southwest (next to train station) was ¥600 and a good solution in case the on-site gets full. Staff was wonderful. You can use the public transportation pick-up/drop-off area for quick access to the site for dropping off luggage or grabbing something.

Set within 49 km of Ryuoo Ski Park and 49 km of Zenkoji Temple, Lotte Arai Resort features rooms in Myoko. Very lush, this was a really nice experience but of course, that comes with a cost. Everything was exceptional the room was stunning, facilities great, not to mention the skiing. Included breakfast had everything you could possibly want, catering to all tastes :-)

Set in Myoko, 33 km from Zenkoji Temple and 35 km from Nagano Station, Morino Lodge - Myoko offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a restaurant and a bar. This lodge has really been well set up for a ski trip! The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great, and the on-site onsen was amazing after a day of skiing on the mountain. The staff were also very helpful and picked us up and dropped us at the station as well. Overall a great stay and I'd definitely come back!
