The hosts are really kind and were gracious to accommodate my last-minute request for an extra night. The house is very clean and Petty is pleasant to interact with and always ready to help.

Kathryn and the staff team made sure from the minute we arrived to the minute we left that we had everything we needed and organized us with a regular Tuk Tuk driver and taxi driver to get to the airport. Kathryn and our Tuk Tuk driver, Omar also made great recommendations for things to do and places to visit whilst in Watamu. Our apartment was just perfect, we visit Africa regularly (first time to Kenya) and this is the best accomodation we have stayed in. Authentically Kenyan in decor and furnishings. The bathroom was rustic and traditional African and immaculate. It was 32° on average during our stay so the air conditioning in both bedrooms and the fans in all the rooms were much needed and kept the apartment perfectly cool. The kitchen had everything needed and it was great to be able to do a combination of self catering and eating.out. The staff are the best thing about Solana Apartments. Everyone was so welcoming even taking the time to teach us some Swahili and were so appreciative when we tried to learn. Breakfast was included in the price and was lovely. After the first day, as part of our. Breakfast experience the staff cooked traditional Swahili breakfast items for us to try which were all delicious and then we chose this every day. The breakfast was ample and really set you up for the day. Our apartment was cleaned daily, again to an exceptional standard. Although an apartment there were staff there all day and a security guard at night. We felt safe at all times and the staff all went out of their way to help in any way they could.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi. stuff were amazing and kind ,beautiful and serene environment.Loved the room .it was super clean and beautiful.The bathrooms were clean and the balcony view was spectacular. worth each dollar. 5 star experience indeed.

The tent we stayed in was quite small but the rest of the place just amazing. Spotlessly clean, just a few steps from the beach and the pool was amazing. We felt just like at jome. Asante!
