The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Cleaning staff was great. I don’t remember the names. Restaurant menu was amazing I tried break fast which were part of our package. However, dinner with buffet was amazing.

Και ο σταθμός του τρένου μόνο ένα 10 λέπτο.

Very friendly and helpful staff who worked as a team to ensure our stay was exceptionally comfortable. The team went out of their way to accommodate our every wish. Good value for money. The all girls team was effective in creating a very quiet and calm atmosphere.

The staff were amazing shout out to senuka for making my first morning great at breakfast and suranga the bell boy for just being amazing such a smiley face and so welcoming.

Nimeshikha is a wonderful, kind host. Staying in this hostel feels like a genuine cultural experience as you feel part of the family and the two little children are always running around and wanting to interact with you. Nimeshikha serves a delicious breakfast every day and she has her restaurant on site if you wish to eat lunch or dinner! My top tip: don't book any tours on Getyourguide as Nimeshikha's husband can arrange everything at a cheaper price! I arrived in Sigiriya with no plan, but the two hosts were able to advise me and help me organise everything. I extended my stay by two more nights and had three beautiful days exploring Sigiriya and nearby sites. A big thank you to Nimeshikha and Nuwan!

How peaceful and quiet the place was, surrounded by nature. Everyone who was working was really friendly and even with the location being a bit out the way was no trouble getting any help in ordering transportation. Breakfast was good and rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Το Green Acres Leisure Resort & Spa είναι σε Kandy, σε απόσταση 25 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens και διαθέτει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο... This is the most incredible hotel. The views are simply breathtaking and the hospitality of the staff is absolutely overwhelming. Mr Thilak, hotel manager, and his team took care of every detail during our 2 day stay with them. We were travelling with young children (age 3 & 6) and they were so accommodating and kind it was really heartwarming. Small things like our eldest mentioned how he wanted to try a King Coconut at some point during his stay in Sri Lanka, and the next morning at breakfast, the team had thoughtfully carved two for the kids, in the shape of a mouse, so they could try the refreshing coconut water. Mr Thilak also arranged for a short cooking class for us to make our own Hoppers for breakfast, it was a great and interactive experience- especially for the kids. The food menu was brilliant for families, which was something we were a little worried about hearing stories from friends, but here there was even a kids menu here and lots of things our boys enjoyed. Our stay happened to fall over International Women's Day, and I was stopped in the afternoon and presented with a rose and a small gift to celebrate the event. It was so thoughtful. The swimming pool at the hotel is amazing, with views from the pool, restaurant and lobby that will literally take your breath away. Surprise visits from the local monkeys were also fun! We had a driver for our trip and also took the chance to visit Kandy which took us about 1 hour... worth the trip to see some of the famous sights, though I must say we were happy to return to serenity of Greenacres after a full on day of busy city life. We were so sad when it came time to leave, and would truly reccomend anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to brave the jungle path to the hotel and absorb the beautiful setting, wonderful views and warm Sri Lankan hospitality. Above all, the hotel has the most incredible staff with the closest attention to detail and we would truly like to thank them all for their fabulous service!

I had the most wonderful time at Sigiriya Palace View due to the 200% hospitality of Suriya and his lovely wife. They do their utmost to help you with everything and explain many things about the environment. They will help you to decide what you want to do. For me it was one relaxing afternoon in their garden, and the next day I went to the Dambulla cave temple which they arranged by their own tuktuk. In the afternoon, I did a very nice safari to Eco park and saw so many elephants. Also, the breakfast is very good and big and the dinner cooked were so delicious! The room is spacious and very new. In a few weeks, they will have another two rooms ready upstairs as well. You have a beautiful view at Sigiriya Rock. Area is nice and peaceful, also the city of Sigiriya is so small and quiet. I can only recommend this place 100%. Hope to come back sometime….
