This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

There are many different beautiful animals and birds around. The house was clean, the shower worked well, the breakfast was very tasty. Very good location, near a beautiful beach, where there are not many people, quiet and peaceful. The owner of the house will always be remembered as a very nice man, he took us everywhere we needed and helped us with everything. He tried very hard to make everything good. He was happy to tell interesting facts about Sri Lanka and answered all the questions. We also took advantage of the tour he offered which was excellent! A truly great person!

The staff were exceptional, with a welcome drink. One of them took us on a night tour for no cost to see crocodiles and bats coming out for the night.

Absolutely everything. The staff are great, property is just beautiful and I loved the location. Beach is rocky so unfortunately you can’t swim directly off the hotel beach and the rooms to the side aren’t large, but this doesn’t detract from the experience. Breakfast was great. We didn’t dine in for dinner as we wanted to try the local fish restaurant at the next beach.

Clean, a comfortable bed, aircon, hot showers, and a huge breakfast waiting when I returned from safari! Lovely family who helped organised safari & transport to Ella as well, and got me prices much better than other hotels were offering.
