The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The hotel is impressive as soon as you walk in. The staff were quick to greet you and help you check in. The room (family), was spacious, quiet, very clean with all modern fittings and amenities. The breakfast was excellent - catered for a range of cuisines. Again, the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Situated in Kandy, 25 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Green Acres Leisure Resort & Spa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This is the most incredible hotel. The views are simply breathtaking and the hospitality of the staff is absolutely overwhelming. Mr Thilak, hotel manager, and his team took care of every detail during our 2 day stay with them. We were travelling with young children (age 3 & 6) and they were so accommodating and kind it was really heartwarming. Small things like our eldest mentioned how he wanted to try a King Coconut at some point during his stay in Sri Lanka, and the next morning at breakfast, the team had thoughtfully carved two for the kids, in the shape of a mouse, so they could try the refreshing coconut water. Mr Thilak also arranged for a short cooking class for us to make our own Hoppers for breakfast, it was a great and interactive experience- especially for the kids. The food menu was brilliant for families, which was something we were a little worried about hearing stories from friends, but here there was even a kids menu here and lots of things our boys enjoyed. Our stay happened to fall over International Women's Day, and I was stopped in the afternoon and presented with a rose and a small gift to celebrate the event. It was so thoughtful. The swimming pool at the hotel is amazing, with views from the pool, restaurant and lobby that will literally take your breath away. Surprise visits from the local monkeys were also fun! We had a driver for our trip and also took the chance to visit Kandy which took us about 1 hour... worth the trip to see some of the famous sights, though I must say we were happy to return to serenity of Greenacres after a full on day of busy city life. We were so sad when it came time to leave, and would truly reccomend anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to brave the jungle path to the hotel and absorb the beautiful setting, wonderful views and warm Sri Lankan hospitality. Above all, the hotel has the most incredible staff with the closest attention to detail and we would truly like to thank them all for their fabulous service!

The staff, the food, the rooms: everything was perfect. So great to be away from the craziness of the city to appreciate the natural landscape of Sri Lanka. We will come back!

Simpson's Forest - Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa - Kandy has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and garden in Kandy. We had such a great time! The food was amazing you neeeeeed to try the buffet it is really worth it! Also everybody was so nice! We strayed for longer than we planned because we enjoyed it a lot! When you come to this place you need to book the tour trough the area with the guy called Isuru! He is such a clever and cool guy and knows everything about the area, the animals the plants everything! It was so interesting! He also got us a pomelo from the tree after we told him that we love pomelos! And i promise it was the best ever! Thanks a lot to everyone who made our stay!

Situated just 5.7 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Lalanga Homestay features accommodation in Kandy with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. This place is a rare gem!!! Kandy town is a little hectic but being at Lalanga was like a perfect oasis of clean, peaceful and super kind environment. The family living here have now turn into friends of mine. The food was excellent, the bathroom perfect and everything was clean and tidy. Beyond that I had a major computer issue while I was here and they came to the rescue and solved my problem. (( so beyond grateful)) If you are ok being 10 mins out of city Center which I recommend, this is a wonderful base to rest while in you are Sri Lanka. 5 stars!

Everything from the living room and kitchen to the balcony and bedroom is so relaxing and comfy. The place is well-kept and super tidy. Waking up with sunlight streaming into the house, birds singing, and greenery all around… such a refreshing way to start the morning.

This is absolutely fantastic accommodation. The room is lovely with a view of pond but the real blessing is Mangelika with her husband who make you feel like you are the most special person in their universe. Do not hesitate to visit them, you will not want to stay anywhere else.
