Situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Birds Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. I stayed here for 4 nights and ı definitely recommend. They helped me about transportation, laundry, trips.. The breakfast was included, ıt was really good and the portions are really big. The owner of the place and especially her wife they’re really friendly. I was not even going out for dinner, ı was eating at the hostel(she cooks). It feels like a homestay. I’m really happy that ı stayed here on my Sigiriya time.

I stayed for 5 days. It was clean, and the pool was great. I ate at their restaurant once, and the food was very good. I needed to work online, and they made sure I had a good internet connection. It wasn’t super strong (nowhere in Sri Lanka is), but for the country, it was quite good and sufficient for working. I also had fresh water every day and was pleasantly surprised by the hot water pressure in the shower. Even though there weren’t many mosquitoes, they still provided an anti-mosquito product, which was a nice touch. But the best part? The owners. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you so much!

He was very helpful and made every effort to ensure the well-being of the guests. He did everything he could to make the guests' stay more enjoyable. He can offer to take you to and from the tourist attractions in his tuktuk. He also explains everything you can do in Sigiriya and the surrounding area at the beginning and helps you plan your stay. The food served by Suriya's family was absolutely delicious, which is why I didn't feel the need to eat out. The room was very clean and big enough. It has a beautiful garden with a fantastic view of Sigiriya Lion Rock. I would come back anytime!

Located in Sigiriya, 1.9 km from Pidurangala Rock, Sigiriya King's Resort provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Sigiriya Kings Resort was the hidden gem during our stay in Sri Lanka. It is a place surrounded by nature and very quiet. There is a big pond that is right next to the lodge where you can see frogs and many many birds. The rooms are high standard, good and silent air conditioning, good shower with amenities, bathrobe, and a flash light. The people were extremely friendly and attentive. I could only touch a sun umbrella and within seconds somebody was there to help me. The continental breakfast was superb and we enjoyed it every day. Fresh juice, smoothie, yoghurt, eggs/bacon/beans, fruits, and sweets. We usually don’t eat dinner at the restaurant of the hotel but ended eating at this place every evening. The meals were so delicious and worth the price. Recommendation: Tom Yum soup and everything on the SKR specials page! They have multiple trips that they offer and arrange for you. We booked the safari in Hurulu. They knew exactly where the elephants were these days and we saw around 40 of them also very close up. Big thanks to our guide Samantha for the awesome experience🎉 And not to forget the lovely view to Lions Rock and Pidurangala. We took one of their bikes to make a nice 1.5h ride to the base of the Lions Rock and city center. It’s a cool way to discover the surroundings. We enjoyed everything and want to say big thanks to the owner and staff for taking such good care and making our stay unforgettable. ❤️

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Sigiri Anu Homestay is located in Sigiriya. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Huge room, very clean, hot showers,delicious home cooked meals, lovely family, Anu was super friendly and helpful for arranging pick up and drop off in his tuk tuk. Amazing location to Lion Rock

Set in Sigiriya, 2.2 km from Sigiriya Rock, Chena Huts Eco Resort offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. While the location was outside of the area for most of the town’s amenities, its relative isolation meant for a quiet, more peaceful stay. Also saw some (harmless) wildlife near the huts: peacocks and peahens, other colorful birds, lizards, frogs etc. The staff was flexible and accommodating; if I ever return to Sigiriya, I will plan to return to Chena Huts.

We stayed here for 2 night. It was amazing. Family is friendly and welcoming. They offer delicious breakfast, around 7 different kinds of dishes + tea and coffee. This place is in a walking distance to Sigiriya rock.
