I saw the midnight sun and went to Sommarøy (public transport.. the tourist information office will tell you about it). The Nitty Gritty is a lovely bar/ food place with lovely staff. The apartment is situated very close to the big bridge, the artic cathedral and the cable car (all of them a 10 minutes walk away). When you arrive at the airport it’s very easy to get a bus (€10) to the centre and for Vervet you get off at the last stop! The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. I travelled down to Bergen on the Havila.. not to be missed.. All in all 100/100. I can’t wait to come back.

The apartment is located just next to the sea, making the view from the apartment breath taking. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Our flight was delayed and therefore we reached the apartment late at night. I had some difficulty looking for the keys, but Mihka was kind enough to answer my phone call in the dead of the night and walk me through to the key box. We were also allowed to leave the luggage in the apartment during the check out and collect it later. In a nutshell- the best stay ever!
